Rooney Names Side For Preston North End Clash

Manager Wayne Rooney has made two changes to the side which faced Blackburn Rovers on Friday for this evening’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Preston North End (7pm kick-off).

Striker Colin Kazim-Richards, who is the club’s top goalscorer with seven goals this term, returns to the starting XI tonight after being named as a substitute against Rovers. He replaces Louie Sibley who moves down to the substitutes bench.

Jason Knight is also back in the starting line-up, making his first appearance since the defeat against Reading on Easter Monday. Polish winger Kamil Jozwiak misses out through a knock.

There is positive news from the treatment table as both George Edmundson and Martyn Waghorn are fit enough for the bench for tonight’s game after missing recent matches.
