Derby County’s team news has been confirmed for this afternoon’s pre-season friendly fixture against Sky Bet League Two side Salford City (3pm kick-off).

Manager Wayne Rooney will once again cast his eye over several free agents that are training with the Rams.

Phil Jagielka, Sone Aluko and Ravel Morrison all featured in last weekend’s friendly against Manchester United and start once again, while midfielder Tom Carroll is named in the side after linking up with the squad earlier this week.

Fellow free agents Andre Wisdom, Ryan Allsop, Richard Stearman and Sam Baldock are amongst the substitutes.

Goalkeeper Kelle Roos isn’t involved this afternoon in order for David Marshall and Allsop to get more match minutes under their belts. Curtis Davies, another free agent training with the Rams, isn't involved for personal reasons.

Winger Kamil Jozwiak is not involved after only returning to pre-season training earlier this week, following his international commitments with Poland, while Jason Knight (ankle) and Krystian Bielik (knee) remain out of action.

Youngsters Louie Watson and Jack Stretton are not involved after picking up minor injuries in training recently, but they are due to return to training next week.
