Waghorn Leaves Derby At End Of Contract To Join Coventry

Martyn Waghorn will not return to Derby County after his contract came to an end on 30th June 2021.

The striker has joined fellow Sky Bet Championship side Coventry City as a free agent.

Waghorn spent three seasons with Derby after signing from Ipswich Town ahead of the 2018/19 season.

The 31-year-old recorded 123 appearances in all competition during that time, scoring on 30 occasions.

Derby County would like to thank Martyn for his efforts throughout the last three seasons and wish him well in the future.
