Derby County defender Craig Forsyth has been given a three-match ban by the Football Association.

Forsyth was deemed to have committed an act of violent conduct in an incident in the first half of Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Nottingham Forest.

On-field incidents which are not seen at the time are referred by The FA to a panel of three former elite match officials. For The FA to bring a charge, the decision of the panel must be unanimous.

Forsyth will miss Derby’s upcoming Sky Bet Championship fixtures against Birmingham City (10th September), West Bromwich Albion (14th September) and Stoke City (18th September).

He will next be available for selection for the trip to Sheffield United on 25th September.
