Derby County winger Kamil Jozwiak has been called up to the Poland squad ahead of their upcoming international fixtures.

The 23-year-old, who featured for Paulo Sousa’s side at the recent UEFA European Championships, has been named in the squad for November’s concluding two 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures.

Poland, who sit second in Group I, still have an outside chance of qualifying for the World Cup as they sit three points off England who currently top the standings. A second-placed finish will see them qualify for the play-offs.

They travel to the Estadi Nacional to face Andorra on Friday 12th November (7:45pm kick-off), whilst three days later, they host Hungary in Warsaw. That game takes place on Monday 15th November (7:45pm kick-off).

Jozwiak, who joined Derby in September 2020, has 21 caps to his name and has contributed two goals, whilst he has also registered three assists.

The Polish winger has made 54 appearances for the Rams, scoring once in a 2-0 victory over Swansea City in December 2020.
