Manager Wayne Rooney has made one enforced change to his starting line-up from the 1-1 draw against Millwall prior to the November international break.

The Rams host AFC Bournemouth in the Sky Bet Championship this afternoon (12pm kick-off) at Pride Park Stadium, and go into the fixture with minus three points after it was announced earlier this week that they had received a nine-point sporting sanction, with a further three points suspended, after admitting to breaches of the League’s Profitability and Sustainability (P&S) rules.

Defender Nathan Byrne, who was sent off for two bookable offences against the Lions just over two weeks ago, has been replaced by Liam Thompson, who makes his Derby County league debut.

The Rams’ Academy graduate featured in last season’s FA Cup Third Round tie against National League North side Chorley, and after training well with the first team and impressing for the Under-23s he has been handed his first league start by Rooney.

Amongst the substitutes is 16-year-old Omari Kellyman who has been training with the first team recently.

The Rams' Under-16s striker, who joined the club at the age of seven, has impressed the manager and his backroom staff and has been rewarded with a place on the bench.
