Derby County midfielder Ravel Morrison has been called up to the Jamaica national team squad for their upcoming international fixtures.

Morrison is part of a 23-man squad as the Reggae Boyz face three 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying fixtures over the course of a week, looking to keep their dream of progressing to Qatar 2022 alive.

Jamaica currently sit sixth in the CONCACAF qualification section, picking up eight points from their seven games so far.

Former Portsmouth, Tranmere and Chesterfield forward Paul Hall was placed in interim charge of Jamaica following the departure of Theordore Whitmore in December 2021.

His first test will be a tough one as they host third-placed Mexico in Kingston on Friday 28th January (00:00am kick off GMT), whilst they travel to Estadio Rommel Fernández to face Panama on Sunday 30th January (11:05pm kick-off GMT).

Jamaica are back on home soil on Thursday 3rd February as they host Costa Rica at Independence Park in Kingston (00:00am kick off GMT).

Morrison, who has made 23 appearances for Derby this season, scoring one goal, has earned six caps for the Reggae Boyz since making his international debut in November 2020.
