Derby County manager Wayne Rooney has been forced into a handful of changes to his matchday squad for this evening’s Sky Bet Championship fixture at Huddersfield Town (7:45pm kick-off).

In total, Rooney has made three changes to his starting line-up from Sunday’s dramatic 2-2 draw against Birmingham City at Pride Park Stadium.

Rooney’s side staged a dramatic comeback in the closing stages to storm back from two goals down to secure a point against the Blues to pick up another valuable point.

Kamil Jozwiak (ankle) and Max Bird (groin) miss out and come out of the starting line-up for the meeting with the Terriers at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Krystian Bielik (shoulder), who scored the Rams’ late equaliser on his comeback from a year out of action with a serious knee injury, is named on the bench whilst Colin Kazim-Richards (calf) is ruled out.

Attacking midfielders Festy Ebosele and Louie Sibley come into the starting line-up, while Lee Buchanan replaces Craig Forsyth at left-back.

The injuries, as well as Ravel Morrison’s absence owing to a combination of international duty with Jamacia and a three-match suspension for his recent red card at Nottingham Forest, means Rooney has a youthful looking bench to call upon.

Under-23s defenders Eiran Cashin and Max Bardell are substitutes, as well as in-form Under-18s forward Malcolm Ebiowei, while striker Jack Stretton is back from a brief spell out injured.

Huddersfield Town: Nicholls, Toffolo, Pearson, Hogg (C), O’Brien, Thomas, Holmes, Turton, Sinani, Ward, Lees.

Substitutes: Blackman, Pipa, Rhodes, Koroma, High, Sarr, Eiting.

Derby County: Allsop (GK), Byrne, Lawrence (C), Stearman, Sibley, Buchanan, Davies, Ebosele, Knight, Thompson, Plange.

Substitutes: Roos (GK), Bardell, Cashin, Forsyth, Bielik, Stretton, Ebiowei.
