Derby County Women will once again grace the Pride Park Stadium playing surface this weekend when they face Nottingham Forest Women in a crucial East Midlands Derby.

The FA Women's National League North Division fixture will take place on Sunday 27th March (2pm kick-off).

The match will present the Ewe Rams, who normally play their first-team games at Mickleover FC, with the chance to complete a seasonal double over the Reds after they were 2-0 winners at the City Ground earlier in the campaign.

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be the first Derby County Women fixture at Pride Park Stadium since the beginning of the 2019/20 campaign - so it is not an occasion to miss!

With the Men’s first team receiving outstanding support in a testing season both on and off the field in recent months, the club is encouraging fans to show their backing to the Women’s side in the promotion push.

The club has increased its support towards Derby County Women in recent seasons as the profile and growth of Women’s football continues to rise. The enhanced support sees the Ladies’ first-team train at the Derby County Training Centre at Moor Farm, as the Ewe Rams continue to align themselves more closely to the main club in terms of its governance structure.

The Ewe Rams have been competing at the top end of the table throughout the 2021/22 season and have made significant strides under manager Sam Griffiths this term.

Tickets, with seating available in the East Stand, are on sale from the Ticket Office at Pride Park Stadium and online on dcfc.co.uk.

After a successful inaugural game at Pride Park Stadium in September 2018, which saw the Ewe Rams win 1-0 against Forest in front of 1,642 supporters, the two sides met once again 12 months later before a crowd of 2,318 fans - with the visitors winning by the same scoreline.

March’s match will be the third Derby County Women fixture to be played at Pride Park Stadium - and we’d love you to play your part and offer your backing.
