Derby County midfielder Ravel Morrison played the full 90 minutes for Jamacia on Sunday evening as they tasted defeat in their penultimate CONCACAF 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Canada.


Jamacia were beaten 4-0 at BMO Field as the hosts secured a place at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this year and their first appearance at the tournament since 1986.

Cyle Larin and Tajon Buchanan’s first half goals had Canada in control, while a Junior Hoilett and a late own goal from Adrian Mariappa rounded off the scoring.

Morrison’s appearance was his eleventh for the Reggae Boyz after making his debut on the international stage in 2020.

Jamacia will conclude their qualifying campaign back on home soil in Kingston as they face Honduras on Thursday 31st March (2:05am kick-off).
