Derby’s Ball Number Confirmed Ahead Of Carabao Cup Round One Draw On Thursday

The EFL have confirmed the draw sections and ball numbers ahead of the 2022/23 Carabao Cup Round One draw later this week.

The draw will take place live on Sky Sports News at 2:30pm on Thursday 23rd June and a total of 35 ties will be drawn for Round One.

Derby County will be in the Northern Section of the draw and have been allocated ball number 11.

Carabao Cup Round One ties are due to be played in the midweek of the week commencing Monday 8th August 2022.

Last season’s Round One draw handed Derby a home tie against League Two side Salford City and the tie proved to be a thrilling encounter as the Rams eventually progressed to the next round on penalties, following a 3-3 draw after 90 minutes.
