Interim Manager Liam Rosenior has, as expected, utilised his Derby County squad for this evening’s Carabao Cup Round Two tie against Championship side West Bromwich Albion at Pride Park Stadium (7:45pm kick-off).

Striker David McGoldrick will make his first Derby start following his summer arrival from Sheffield United in the summer.

The experienced frontman missed the Rams’ opening games of the campaign with a minor hamstring niggle and has built up his match sharpness with two substitute appearances against Shrewsbury Town and Fleetwood Town in the last week.

Kwaku Oduroh, Jake Rooney, Haydon Roberts, Korey Smith, Liam Thompson and Louie Sibley also start with Rosenior making a total of seven changes from the goalless draw at Fleetwood in League One on Saturday.

Only goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith, defender Craig Forsyth, midfielder Jason Knight and forward Lewis Dobbin started the game against the Cod Army at the weekend.

Experienced defender Forsyth will wear the captain’s armband, as he did in the 2-1 Round One success at Mansfield Town two weeks ago.
