Derby County’s Interim Manager Liam Rosenior has made one change to the side which beat Barnsley 2-1 at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday for this evening’s Sky Bet League One fixture at Shrewsbury Town (7:45pm kick-off).

The Rams travel to the Montgomery Waters Meadow eyeing their fourth victory out of their opening five games in all competitions so far this season.

And the only change comes in midfield as Korey Smith has been recalled to the starting line-up in place of Louie Sibley, switches to the substitutes’ bench.

Smith, who joined the club in the summer after leaving Swansea City, started in Derby’s first three fixtures of the season in all competitions against Oxford United, Charlton Athletic and Mansfield Town, and was introduced as a second-half substitute on Saturday against the Tykes.

Midfielder Max Bird will continue to captain the Rams in the absence of regular skipper Curtis Davies, who picked up an injury to his quad in training last week, whilst David McGoldrick could get his first minutes of the campaign as he is again named as a substitute after recovering from a hamstring issue.

James Chester is still continuing his rehabilitation from the achilles injury he sustained in pre-season, meaning he misses out once more.
