Debry County’s Under-18s squad has a fresh look and feel to it ahead of their upcoming 2022/23 season.

Adam Robinson’s side will compete in Under-18 Premier League - North once again and their campaign will get underway with a trip to Sunderland on Saturday 13th August (12:30pm kick-off).

Nelson Aideyan, Zion Dixon, Harry Evans, Adebayo Fapetu, Riley Moloney, Callum Moore, Reece Nicholas-Davies, Darren Robinson, Sam Sebagabo and Carlos Richards are all now in their second years as scholars after spending the last year with the Rams on a full-time basis.

They have been joined by new first-year scholars Dejaune Brown, Daniel Cox, Jayden Davidson, Harry Hawkins, Jack Perry, Keilen Robinson, Lennon Wheeldon, Farren Simons, Josh Shattell and Billy Gough, while Cameron Ashia has joined the Under-18s squad from Fox Soccer Academy as a second-year scholar.

Academy Director Darren Wassall said: “We’re looking forward to seeing how the lads develop over the course of this season, as always, and it is an exciting time.

“The second-year scholars have had a year to bed into life with us on a full-time basis so we are looking forward to seeing how they step up, while the first year scholars naturally need to adapt to being in on a full-time basis and look to make an impact on the side.”
