Derby To Host Barnsley In FA Cup Third Round

Derby County will host fellow Sky Bet League One side Barnsley the Third Round of the 2022/23 Emirates FA Cup.

The draw, which took place on Monday evening, handed Paul Warne’s side a home tie against the Reds, who the Rams defeated 2-1 at Pride Park Stadium in league action back in August.

Derby secured their spot in the Third Round after defeating Sky Bet League Two side Newport County 2-1 at Rodney Parade on Sunday, thanks to second half goals from Louie Sibley and David McGoldrick.

All Third Round ties will be played on the weekend of 6/7/8/9 January 2023.
