Derby County’s out-on-loan midfielder Krystian Bielik has been named in the Poland squad for their 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign in Qatar.
The 24-year-old will look to add to his five senior caps for Poland when they face Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Argentina in Group C of the tournament in the Middle East later this month.
Bielik has made 49 appearances for the Rams since signing from Arsenal in the summer of 2019, recovering from two serious long-term knee injuries, and moved to Birmingham on a season-long loan deal back in July.
Since linking up with the Blues, managed by former Derby midfielder John Eustace, Bielik has made 12 appearances in the Championship.
