Derby County Head Coach Paul Warne was happy that his side continued their unbeaten run following the 0-0 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday - but was disappointed that they were unable to create more in the final third on the day.

The point extended the Rams' unbeaten streak to 10 matches in all competitions and leaves them seventh in the Sky Bet League One table.

Speaking to RamsTV after the final whistle, the Head Coach gave his assessment of the performance.

On the game...

I think it was a pretty equal game. Neither team really did enough to win it.

We did really well but then from about 70 minutes onwards we sort of lost our way. We didn't have a lot of defending to do, I just don't think we had the ball as much as I would like.

In the final third we just weren't as smart as I would want us to be. There was a lot of nearly moments and it was a nearly day. I think if either team would have scored the other team would have gone for it a bit. It felt a little bit like both sets of players had the mindset that a point was better than nothing.

Two good teams cancelled each other out ultimately and I said to the lads I like to think they are a little bit disappointed not to take all three points but also proud of the fact they have kept another clean-sheet and haven't lost.

On the defensive performance...

It's not like us not to score but the clean-sheet was really good and I thought the back-line were all really good. Sibs did really well at left-back, Cashin and Foz and Smith too, but the standout for me was Fozzy - he's been excellent for weeks.

I don't normally give one player praise but I thought he was the outstanding player on the pitch.

On Louie Sibley's move to left-back...

We've done a little bit of work with him but not loads. He gets the game and it suits him when everything is in front of him. He prefers it if someone is in front of him as opposed to the wing-back role.

We've tried to calm down his bookings and he makes tackles when he has to but I thought at times today he was a good outlet and especially in the first-half when he kept getting down the sides.

On continuing the unbeaten run...

It gives the lads real confidence. The clean-sheet wall of Joe's is pretty monstrous now, he's going to have to have a section of the building at the training ground!

It's a really cheesy thing to say but if you don't win just don't lose and we did enough to at least get a point.

Will Osula nearly got his toe on one at the end which would have been good and it would have been a fitting goal for a good game.

It wasn't a good match in terms of hitting the crossbar several times and loads of saves being made but it was in terms of a game of chess with two teams going toe-to-toe.
