Derby County Head Coach Paul Warne has named his side that will line-up to take on Accrington Stanley for the Rams’ first game of 2023 this afternoon (3pm kick-off).

It’s two changes from the team that won 1-0 against Cambridge United last time out with Tom Barkhuizen and Jason Knight both coming back into the starting XI.

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing reverts to the bench whilst James Collins misses out entirely with a minor issue.

Skipper Curtis Davies also isn’t risked after picking up a minor problem over the last few days.

There is however a welcome return to the bench for defender James Chester who is back involved for the first time since the end of October.
