Derby County Under-21s midfielder Connor Dixon has joined Ilkeston Town on loan.
Dixon, 22, has joined the Robins, managed by former Derby forward Jamie Ward, on a month’s loan.
Ilkeston ply their trade in the Southern League Premier Division Central and Dixon could make his debut in their home fixture against Bedford Town on Saturday.
Dixon, who has come through the Academy ranks, has recently returned from a lengthy spell out of action due to injury and featured in two matches in Premier League 2 - Division 2 this term.
He is the latest member of the Under-21s squad to head out on loan with Bartosz Cybulski (Solihull Moors), Harrison Foulkes (Kettering Town) and George Nunn (Mickleover FC) gaining experience elsewhere.
