Derby County are looking to return to winning ways when they travel to the South West to take on Bristol Rovers on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Despite mounting nearly 30 shots on Easter Monday, the Rams were held to a 1-1 draw by MK Dons at Pride Park Stadium, and they will be hoping to be more clinical when they visit the Memorial Stadium looking to force their way back into the play-off spots.

In the lead-up to the game getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know…

Team News

On-loan Norwich City winger Tony Springett remains out with an ankle injury he sustained in training last month and is set to miss the remaining weeks of the League One campaign.

Defender James Chester sat out Monday's 1-1 draw with MK Dons at Pride Park Stadium after returning from a lengthy injury lay-off in the 2-0 success at Forest Green Rovers on Easter Friday. He was taken off late on in the win after feeling some muscle tightness and is continuing to be monitored.

Warne's Words

Rams Head Coach Paul Warne sat down with RamsTV to preview Saturday's clash with the Gas.

He said: "Our job as coaches is to reassure the players and let them know if we play at the level we are capbale of then we've got a right chance. If we are fortunate enough to win the next five games and get in the play-offs, then we'll have a right belief.

"The message to the players is to keep going, keep believing and unfortunately for us now we're looking at other results more - but we've got to be positive with it. I don't want to not enjoy the last few weeks of the season, I want to enjoy every minute and as long as the lads give their all then I can't criticise them.

"I look forward to watching them over the next few games and I'll be there for them no matter what."

From The Dressing Room

Defender Haydon Roberts spoke to RamsTV ahead of Saturday's fixture.

He said: "We're all positive. We've had a bit of a bump in recent weeks and we would have liked to have done better against MK Dons on Monday (the game finished in a 1-1 draw). We know we should have done better but we can't change it.

"We've got five games left to put it right. We're all positive and are backing what we're doing."

Match Officials

Ollie Yates will take charge of Saturday's game at the Memorial Stadium.

Abbas Khan and Andrew Laver will assist Yates whilst Paul Lister-Flynn is on fourth official duties.

Yates has officiated 31 games so far in this campaign including the Rams' 3-2 loss to Plymouth Argyle back in October.

He's handed out 123 yellow cards, one red and awarded just one penalty so far.
