Derby County staged an Open Training Session at Pride Park Stadium on Thursday.

Around 2,500 fans flocked to the Rams' home for the event and it proved to be a big hit for all of those that were in attendance.

Attendees watched on from the East Stand as Head Coach Paul Warne and his coaching staff put the squad through their paces ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League One trip to Bristol Rovers (3pm kick-off).

Live interviews were conducted on the pitch over the Rams’ PA system during the training session while Warne himself spoke the fans at the end of training to review the day's training and to thank them for their support.

There were prizes given out throughout the session too, including home match tickets and signed shirts.

Once training was over, the players joined the supporters in the East Stand and offered the chance for them to get some autographs and photographs.

The event was free to attend for all supporters and, with the Easter half-term holidays in full swing, a large number of school children turned out with their parents for a fun-filled morning of action.
