Derby County Under-18s defender Dan Cox has been selected in the Wales Men's Under-17 National Team for the 2022/2023 UEFA European Championship Under-17 – Final Tournament in Budapest, Hungary.
The centre-back made his debut for the Wales' Under-17s in March and has been awarded with yet another call-up after impressing this season both internationally and domestically.
Cox will travel with the Welsh squad to Budapest for three games between Thursday 11th May and Sunday 2nd June.
He will have a chance to feature against Hungary Under-17s on 17th May (7pm kick-off), Republic of Ireland Under-17s on 20th May (3:30pm kick-off) and Poland Under-17s on 23rd May (7pm kick-off).
Cox, who is 17, has made eight league appearances for Derby's Under-18s in the 2022/23 season as well as getting match minutes under his belt for the Under-21s in Premier League 2 - Division 2 on three occasions.
