Derby County’s fixture list for the 2023/24 Sky Bet League One season has today been revealed.


The new season’s fixtures were released by the EFL at 9am this morning.

Derby, led by Head Coach Paul Warne, now know when and where they will be heading between August 2023 and May 2024.

In line with the announcement of the 2023/24 fixtures, we’ve detailed the key pieces of information you need to know straight away.

What Is Derby’s Start Like?

Derby will start the season on home turf for the fourth season in a row with recently relegated Wigan Athletic the visitors to Pride Park Stadium on Saturday 5th August.

The Rams’ first away trip of the season will be their shortest of the season when they head down the A38 to take on Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday 12th August.

Back-to-back home games will follow on Tuesday 15th August against Oxford United and then on Saturday 19th August when Fleetwood Town are the visitors.

The opening month of the season will conclude with a trip to Peterborough United on Saturday 26th August.

Who Do Derby Play Over Christmas?

The festive period contains four fixtures for Derby, starting with the visit of Lincoln City to Pride Park Stadium on Saturday 23rd December.

Derby will be away on Boxing Day when they head to Wigan Athletic on Tuesday 26th December, while 2023 will conclude with an away fixture at Oxford United on Friday 29th December.

A home clash against Peterborough United will start 2024 on Monday 1st January 2024.

Who Do Derby Face Over Easter?

Good Friday will see the Rams host Blackpool on home territory on Friday 29th March, while Bank Holiday Monday will see Derby make the long journey to Portsmouth on 1st April.

Who Do Derby Play At The End Of The Season?

The season will conclude on home turf on Saturday 27th April against Paul Simpson’s Carlisle United, while the Rams’ final away fixture of the league campaign will come at Cambridge United on Saturday 20th April.

When Are The International Breaks?

There are no international breaks factored in the League One calendar.

What About TV Selections In League One?

The EFL and their official domestic broadcast partner, Sky Sports, will confirm their live selections in due course.
