Forwards Conor Washington and Martyn Waghorn both get the nod up top whilst Liam Thompson and Jake Rooney both start for the first time in the 2023/24 season.
Sonny Bradley and James Collins are both on the bench whilst Max Bird, Kane Wilson and Joe Ward miss out through injury.
Young duo Max Bardell and Darren Robinson both have a place on the bench whilst there's also a welcome return to the matchday squad for midfielder Louie Sibley following his recovery from a calf injury.
