Derby County Under-21s winger Carlos Richards has been called up to the Gibraltar Under-21s squad for their upcoming September fixture.
The 18-year-old, who has represented his country three times at Under-17s level, has earned his first call-up for the Under-21s squad and could play some part in their fixture against Georgia in Kutaisi on 6th September.
Richards joined Derby's Academy in 2021 after his departure from Chelsea and has since gone on to represent the youth teams at Under-18 and Under-21 level on a regular basis.
He has also made one appearance for the senior side in the 2021/22 season, making his professional debut off the bench in the Sky Bet Championship in a 2-1 home victory over Fulham.
