Derby County’s first team squad will return to Spain as part of their preparations ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 Sky Bet Championship season.

Paul Warne’s players will head out to the Southeast of Spain for the second year in a row on Sunday 14th July and return home the following weekend.

Derby will once again be based in Alicante for the duration of their training camp.

Last year’s visit proved to be vital for the Rams both in terms of putting in the hard yards on the training pitch and forming a strong and resilient team spirit off of it.

Whilst in Spain, the Rams will take on Sky Bet League One newcomers Stockport County in a pre-season practice match at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia on Friday 19th July (11am local-time kick-off).

The Hatters, who were champions of League Two in the 2023/24 season, will also be on their own training camp at the same time.

The Pinatar Arena, which hosted Derby playing Salford City in a friendly last July, has a 3,000 capacity and the club will provide ticketing information for those supporters wishing to attend in due course.

Please Note: The above information in relation to the friendly against Stockport County is subject to change. Any alterations will be communicated to supporters as soon as possible.
