WOMEN NEWS: Ewes’ Halifax Clash Postponed

Derby County Women’s FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division home tie with Halifax has been postponed.

The fixture was due to take place at the Don Amott Arena this afternoon, but the pitch has been deemed unplayable after an inspection by match officials in Mickleover.

The clash against Halifax would have been Derby’s first game of the New Year following the postponement of their last match against West Bromwich Albion a week ago.

Details on the rearranged fixture will be agreed and communicated in due course.

Supporters who purchased a ticket for this game will automatically be issued a refund via Ticketsource, please allow a few days for this to be processed.

Sam Griffiths’ side will return to action in the league on Sunday 26th January against Wolverhampton Wanderers (2pm kick-off).
