Head Coach John Eustace says ‘everyone will have to play their part’ as Derby County prepare for a ‘tough and competitive’ fixture against Stoke City in the final game of the 2024/25 Sky Bet Championship season.

The Rams have picked up 20 points from their last 10 games in the division, including back-to-back wins on the road ahead of the season finale against the Potters at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday (12:30pm kick-off).
Easter Monday’s 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion was followed by last Saturday’s 1-0 triumph over Hull City, and sees the Rams in 19th place going into the last game of the Championship campaign.
They sit a point above the relegation zone going into the final day, with goal difference putting them ahead of Preston North End and Luton Town below them and Hull City are only a point behind.
Eustace spoke to RamsTV after training on Thursday to preview his side’s season-closing Championship clash before a sold-out Pride Park crowd,
Everyone's looking forward to the game. We've put a lot of hard work and effort into getting to this point, and we're looking forward to the challenge on Saturday.
The players have been brilliant, as they have in every training session we've had since we've been here. They are fully focused and showing a really good attitude, so everyone will be ready for it.

We were pretty confident that it would always be down to the last game - and we need to be competitive. The results last weekend made no difference to that. We've prepared properly this week and we're looking forward to the challenge.

It's the last home game of the season to stay in the Championship. It's a really exciting day, and everyone's going to have to play their part. The most important thing is that we go into the match on Saturday competitive. We are excited about the challenge, and hopefully we can do ourselves proud.

It will be a really tough game. Mark Robins is an exceptional, very experienced manager. Stoke have got a very good squad of players, and we know it's going to be a really tough match, but it is one we're really looking forward to.

Thank you for all the efforts up to now. The fans have been magnificent. We're going to need one huge effort again on Saturday. There will be some difficult moments, some tough moments, but I know that the Derby County fans are going to get us through them. Please just keep behind the boys and hopefully we can all get a win and all do it together.
