Derby County Under-21s midfielder Darren Robinson has joined League of Ireland Premier Division side St Patrick's Athletic FC on loan.
The Northern Ireland Under-21 international has linked up with Stephen Kenny’s side on a temporary basis until the end of their league programme in early November.
The central midfielder had a loan spell with Hartlepool United in the National League during the first half of the 2024/25 campaign and made six appearances before returning to Derby.
Robinson featured in the Rams’ matchday squads throughout the League One promotion-winning campaign during the 2023/24 season and made his first senior appearances in the EFL Trophy in the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, having appeared off the bench in the Championship at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
He was awarded Scholar of the Year accolade during both of his first two seasons with the club over the 2021/22 and 2022/23 campaigns, and he has made regular appearances for the Under-21s in Premier League 2 and other competitions since joining the club.
