Derby County midfielder Ebou Adams will join up with The Gambia national squad next week for their September international matches.

The Gambia are in 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying action, with two fixtures against Kenya and Burundi over the international break, which runs from Monday 1st until Tuesday 9th September.
The midfielder, who played all but two of the Rams’ Sky Bet Championship games in the 2024/25 campaign as he won the Jack Stamps Player of the Season award, will look to add to his 20 caps for his nations when he heads to Nairobi, Kenya where they will play out their World Cup Qualifying matches.
The Scorpions will play Kenya on Friday 5th September at the Moi Kasarani Stadium (4pm kick-off) and then Burundi at the Nyayo Stadium four days later, on Tuesday 9th September (10pm kick-off).
