TRANSFER NEWS: Bobby Clark joins Derby County on loan

Derby County have completed the signing of Bobby Clark on a season-long loan from Red Bull Salzburg.

The 20-year-old midfielder returns to English football for the 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Clark is Derby’s ninth signing of the summer and third loan capture, following the arrivals of Owen Beck and David Ozoh from Liverpool and Crystal Palace respectively.

The move reacquaints Clark with John Eustace’s squad after he faced the Rams for his parent Austrian Bundesliga club during the early stages of pre-season.

After spending the majority of his Academy career at Newcastle United, he signed for Liverpool in 2021 and went on to make 14 appearances for the Anfield club, including his first professional start against Derby and a role in their 2024 Carabao Cup final victory.

The midfielder joined RB Salzburg in the summer of 2024, where he featured throughout their league campaign and the UEFA Champions League.

Welcome to Derby, Bobby!
