Derby County Women have confirmed the addition of Olivia Edwards to their ranks ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The attacking midfielder joins the Ewes as their first signing of the summer after leaving Sheffield United following the 2024/25 campaign.
Edwards was a key part of the Blades’ Professional Game Academy (PGA) Under-21s team last season, as she scored 14 goals in 21 starts for the Steel City club’s youth side.

She also has previous experience in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division, after a short stint on dual registration with Huddersfield Town last season.
The Ewes’ season will kick off with an away trip to Rugby Borough on Sunday 17th August (2pm kick-off), before their opening home game of the campaign at the Don Amott Arena against Loughborough Lightning a week later on Sunday 24th August (2pm kick-off).
