Head Coach John Eustace says his Derby County side are raring to go on as they return to Pride Park Stadium for their clash with Preston North End on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

The Rams earned their first win of the 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship season when Andi Weimann’s 84th-minute goal secured a 1-0 reverse against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns last weekend.
The match also saw Patrick Agyemang and Ben Brereton Díaz make their debuts since signing for the club during the Transfer Window.
Derby will be looking to build on the result when they meet Preston on home turf and Eustace spoke to RamsTV ahead of his side's meeting with the Lilywhites.
Everyone was delighted with the win last week, but there is always the same attitude and the same level of application for everyone. The lads were hungry to come back to the training ground on Monday - like they are, win, lose or draw every week - and we have worked really well this week. I'm really pleased with the boys.
In the first half at West Brom, we really stuck in there. We were very dogged. We weren't as positive as we wanted to be, but we found a way. The second half was a bit more like ourselves, and I was delighted with the impact of the substitutes.

It's always about the squad. Over 46 games, the squad is vital, and everyone's going to be used. I was delighted to see Patrick Agyemang on the pitch and then Andi Weimann scoring his first goal for Derby County since rejoining the club - so I'm really pleased with the effort of everyone.
Everyone was really excited just to get Patrick on the bench last week. When he signed in July, he had to have a hernia operation to get him fixed and up and running. We couldn't wait to get going and just to get him back involved.
Getting used to the Championship for him is key. I think he realises the size of the Championship and what it's like week in, week out. You're in this league, you're playing at some fantastic stadiums and he's playing for a brilliant football club in Derby County as well, so it's going to be a great experience for him going forward.

We always love playing in front of the home fans; they've been fantastic since I've been at the club. They're going to be right behind the boys. We've had a couple of difficult home games already, and they've been right behind us. We want to do the fans proud, home and away, and we're looking forward to the game on Saturday.
