Derby County Women will face Real Bedford in the FA Women’s National League Cup First Round.

The Ewes were drawn in an away fixture against the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division side in the draw that took place on Monday.
The match is set to take place on Sunday 19th October (2pm kick-off).

Derby qualified for the First Round Proper after flying through the group stages with a perfect record.
Head Coach Sam Griffiths’ side won all three of their matches in Group P, scoring a total of 12 goals against Notts County, Lincoln United and Sheffield FC, whom they beat 2-0 on Sunday to secure qualification for the next round of the FA Women’s National League Cup.

Teams were initially drawn into 22 groups of four teams, from which the 22 group winners and 10 best runners-up have advanced to the Cup knock-out stages.
The other 12 runners-up and 20 best third-placed teams have advanced to the FA Women’s National League Plate knock-out stages.
Following the group stage, both the Cup and Plate competitions will hold four knock-out rounds before the Final, starting with the First Round, where 16 fixtures are set to take place on Sunday 19th October 2025.
