Derby County forward Ben Brereton Diaz has been called up for international duty by the Chile national team.

The 26-year-old, who netted his first Derby goal in the Rams’ recent 1-1 draw with Wrexham, will join up with La Roja for the October international window.
Brereton DÃaz has previously appeared for his national team on 37 occasions since he was first called up to represent Chile in June 2021.

He featured in both of last month’s CONMEBOL 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying fixtures against Brazil and Uruguay.
Brereton DÃaz will be looking to add another cap to his record when La Roja line up against Peru in a friendly on Saturday 11th October (12am kick-off).
