Defender Matt Clarke says Derby County are eager to ‘press on’ and get points on the board as they look forward to Saturday’s home clash with Southampton (3pm kick-off).

Derby have picked up points in three of their last four Sky Bet Championship games, with Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic adding another to their total.
Clarke scored his third goal for the club with a 79th-minute header at Pride Park, which cancelled out James Bree’s first-half strike for the Addicks.
Derby’s second of back-to-back home games will take place on Saturday when they host Southampton in the Championship ahead of the upcoming international break.
RamsTV sat down with Tuesday night’s goalscorer to reflect on the Charlton draw and look forward to the weekend’s clash against Southampton as Derby look to get their first home win of the campaign on the board.
I suppose there’s a mixture of emotions. We were frustrated with parts of the game but pleased with the response in the second half and that we managed to keep going and get a point. Now, though, we're looking forward and eager to press on.

It'll be a tough game but, as cliché as it sounds, it's about what we do and not the opposition. We're desperate to get that first win at home, and we'll go in and attack the game. If we execute what we want to do and perform to the level that we know we can, we believe we can get that win.
