Derby County Women will return to home soil as they continue their FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division campaign against West Bromwich Albion at the Don Amott Arena on Sunday afternoon (2pm kick-off).

The Ewes face the Baggies as they look to maintain their newfound form after winning four games on the bounce in all competitions, including back-to-back league wins against Halifax (2-0) and Sporting Khalsa (1-0).
Derby were in action last weekend in the FA Women's National League Cup, where a 2-0 triumph over Sheffield FC saw them complete the group stages with a perfect record.
Head Coach Sam Griffiths will be looking for her side to win their third league game in a row on Sunday, before a trip to Hull City on Sunday 12th October.

West Bromwich Albion currently sit sixth in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division table with only a single point separating Derby and the Baggies.
Their recent form indicates that this could be a false position, as they have a game in hand, and have also only lost just one game in the league this season, having fallen to a 4-1 thumping on the road to Hull City.
Phoebe Warner is their leading goalscorer in the league, with four goals from six appearances.
Siobhan Hodgetts-Still has been the Baggies’ Head Coach since the summer of 2023 and was appointed as the club’s first-ever full-time Women’s Head Coach in February of this year.
In her first season in charge, West Brom registered a ninth-place finish in the Tier 3, before last season improving on that, finishing in seventh spot - which they will be looking to build from once again this season.

The last meeting between Derby and West Brom in Mickleover came in September last year, with the Ewes coming out on top 2-1 that day thanks to goals from Chenè Muir and Kira Rai.
Coming into this weekend, West Brom have won their last two league matches, as have the Ewes, with both teams in fine form; it is set up to be a competitive contest at the Don Amott Arena.
