Derby County Women will start the second half of their 2025/26 FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division season at home against Rugby Borough Women on Sunday (2pm kick-off).

Sam Griffiths’ side will look to build on their resilient performance against Wolves, despite falling to a 2-0 defeat against a high-flying side last Sunday.
That result means Derby remain in ninth place, while Rugby are currently third in the league table.
The fixture is the third of four consecutive home games for the Ewes, ahead of an Adobe Women’s FA Cup Third Round clash with Women's Super League 2 side Sunderland on Sunday 14th December (2pm kick-off).

Rugby Borough rebranded from Coventry United Women when they relocated to Rugby ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Head Coach Lee Burch remains with the club, having led them to a fifth-place finish in the Northern Premier Division last season; their first in the division after being moved from the southern equivalent.
The two teams last met on the opening day of the season, when Rugby ran out victorious with a 6-0 success.
But their last visit to the Don Amott Arena ended level back in February, with Chenè Muir on the scoresheet for Derby in a 1-1 draw.

Burch’s side are unbeaten away from home in the league this season, and are the league’s second-top scorers, with 28 goals, and Lily Greenslade is leading the way for Borough, having scored eight goals in 14 games so far this season.
But Sunday’s visitors will be looking to bounce back from a 1-0 defeat to league leaders Burnley last weekend, which ended their four-game winning run.
