Derby County’s Supporters' Board is pleased to announce the appointment of two new independent members.

Jon Perkins and Daniel Walls have accepted the invitation to join following a two-month recruitment process, further strengthening the relationship between the club and its supporters.
The pair – who have both supported the Rams for more than 30 years – have already been introduced to the other board members and attended their first meeting at Pride Park Stadium earlier this week.

Jon’s connection with the club reaches back to the 1991/92 season, where he first saw Derby in a 4-1 victory over Newcastle United 4–1 at the Baseball Ground. A qualified accountant, he currently works in business development.
Dan has been a season ticket holder since 1995/96, attending matches with his brother and stepfather. He is now a headteacher at an inner-city junior school in Derby, and has seen first-hand the positive impact that Derby County has on young people in the local community by providing a sense of identity, belonging and pride across the city.

The board would also like to extend its sincere gratitude to Stella Gutteridge for her exceptional contribution to the board, as she steps away after two years of service.
One of four founding independent members - alongside Hilary Leam (Rams Trust) and Jas Gidda (Punjabi Rams) – in June 2024, Stella’s input has been invaluable in helping to shape the board's discussions with supporters and strengthen its future work.
At this point, the board would also like to acknowledge the outstanding quality of applicants for the positions and thanks them for their interest.
These changes reflect the club’s ongoing commitment to ensuring a broad range of voices are represented as we work together towards a brighter future.
