Derby County Women has confirmed its retained list following the conclusion of the 2025/26 campaign.

Five players will leave the club upon the expiry of their deals with the Ewes – midfielders Ella Bryan and Olivia Edwards, and attackers Chenè Muir, Kate Oakley and Ché Thomas.
Defender Ebonie Locke, who joined on loan from Birmingham City in January, will return to her parent club following the completion of her short-term stay with the Ewes.
Head Coach Sam Griffiths has confirmed that 15 players will be retained ahead of the 2026/27 season, including First Team Captain, Emily Joyce and Club Captain, Hannah Ward.

Meanwhile, young midfielder Bryony Donnison, who joined the club on an Academy Development Registration (ADR) from Aston Villa in February, will make her move to Derby permanent ahead of the new campaign.
Griffiths’ side will once again play in the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division next season – Tier 3 of the women’s football pyramid.
All departing players will leave with the club’s very best wishes for the future, alongside its thanks for their efforts.
