Back on the road, the Rams will be looking to end a run of five games without a win when they travel to the White City to face Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road.

Derby County will also be looking to deliver a late birthday present to Gary Rowett in the capital (kick-off: 7:45pm) and here, dcfc.co.uk has collated all the information you need ahead of the clash with Ian Holloway’s side…

WHAT’S THE LATEST TEAM NEWS

Gary Rowett has confirmed that George Thorne will be out of action for ‘two to three weeks’ after sustaining a calf injury in the defeat to Fulham.

The 25-year-old midfielder was withdrawn from the action in the early stages of the second half and will now miss Tuesday’s trip to QPR and Sunday’s East Midlands showdown with Nottingham Forest.

That could see Joe Ledley come back to the fore against the Hoops.

Sam Winnall is Derby’s only long-term absentee.

WHAT WAS SAID AHEAD OF THE TRIP TO QPR?

Speaking to RamsTV ahead of the clash with QPR, Gary Rowett said: “We’re fully aware that our recent form is not how we want it to be, but as a manager I have to come in on the Monday morning to try find the reasons why and put them to bed.

“We have to move on and concentrate on winning the next game, which we have a fantastic opportunity to do on Tuesday night.

“We’ve shot ourselves in the foot a little bit and we have to try and eradicate those small errors that are making it very difficult for us to get the result that we want.

“Until we get to that point where we’re keeping clean sheets again and we have that confidence, games are going to be difficult.”

ONE TO WATCH

Amongst the Sky Bet Championship’s leading assist makers, creative midfielder Luke Freeman has proven himself to be a key figure for Queens Park Rangers this term.

The 25-year-old, who just over a decade ago became the youngest-ever player to feature in the FA Cup – has laid on 10 goals alone this campaign and has got four goals to his name also.

Notably, Freeman was school at Arsenal, having made the move to the Gunners in 2008 off the back of his exploits at a young age for Gillingham.

After gaining experience on loan at Yeovil and Stevenage, he signed for the latter on a permanent deal – leaving the Emirates without having made a senior appearance for Arsenal.

Freeman would, however, catch the eye again in the lower levels and earned a move to Bristol City

In his first season, he was highly-influential as City did the double by winning League One and the Football League Trophy. He was credited with over 20 assists and was named in the 2014/15 PFA Team of the Season.

A regular for the Robins, the 24-year-old left Ashton Gate for Loftus Road having made 121 appearances in all competitions, scoring 10 goals.
