Derby County defensive duo Richard Keogh and Alex Pearce have been included in the provisional Republic of Ireland squad for their upcoming friendlies.

Martin O’Neill’s side will travel to Paris to take on France before facing United States at the Aviva Stadium, but prior to that, they will play the Scottish champions Celtic at Celtic Park in Scott Brown’s testimonial.
Keogh has been included for the two international fixtures, whilst Pearce is set to join up with the squad for all three games.
Both players have been in good form this season, with Keogh maintaining a key role as Gary Rowett’s side secured sixth-place in the Sky Bet Championship, whilst Pearce has provided a solid and reliable presence when called upon in recent weeks.
Keogh will be looking to win his 18th international cap and his first since he played 90 minutes of Ireland’s 3-1 friendly defeat against Mexico almost a year ago, with Pearce aiming to make his tenth appearance for his country.
