Thorne Makes Luton Loan Move

Derby County’s George Thorne has joined Sky Bet League One side Luton Town on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Thorne, 26, hasn’t appeared for the Rams’ first-team this season but has been a regular face in the club’s Under-23 side.

The midfielder has made 73 appearances in a Derby shirt since arriving from West Bromwich Albion in 2014, initially on loan before sealing a permanent move.

Luton, managed by Nathan Jones, sit second in League One after gaining promotion from League Two last season.
