Alex Babos has been named in the Wales Under-21s squad for their upcoming international fixtures.

The Derby County Under-23s midfielder will travel to Albania with Rob Page’s side for a double-header against the host country on Sunday 9th June and Tuesday 11th June.

Babos made his debut for Wales Under-21s last summer in an international friendly against Georgia and has gone on to make four substitute appearances this season in UEFA European Under-21 Qualification fixtures.

The 21-year-old spent the first half of this season gaining valuable first-team experience on loan with Spanish side Real Union. He returned to the Rams in January and has played a key role in Darren Wassall’s Under-23s, who ended with their highest ever league position.
