Richard Keogh has encouraged Derby County's supporters to continue to back the team in their crucial Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final against Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium this afternoon (3pm kick-off).

The Rams have regularly been backed by a sold-out away section at a large number of fixtures on the road this season, whilst the noise at Pride Park Stadium was vital in the run-in as Frank Lampard's side secured a top six spot.

The scenes following the 4-3 aggregate victory over Leeds United in the Play-Off Semi Finals displayed the unity between the squad and supporters and did not take them long to sell out their 38,000 tickets for today's big clash.

Keogh is now calling on the supporters to continue that feel-good factor and help the team over the line as they seek to secure a place in the Premier League.

“Just keep doing what you have been doing all season,” he told RamsTV in a message to the Derby fans.

“That emotion that we all shared together, especially at Elland Road, Queen Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion at home, all these games, has been great.

“We have pretty much been playing knock-out football since the Bristol City game towards the end of April so there is a real buzz about everything. We have got to use that and I think we have.

“The fans have been amazing and I know they are going to Wembley giving it everything for us. As a team we are going to give it everything and as fans I know they will do the same for us.”
