Top goalscorer Harry Wilson has paid tribute to the Derby County faithful ahead of this afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Final against Aston Villa at Wembley Stadium (3pm kick-off).

The Rams' supporters have taken the Welshman to their hearts after a string of impressive and match-winning performances during his season-long loan spell from Premier League giants Liverpool.

His goals, 18 goals in all competitions, have certainly caught the eye as well.

His delivery from a dead ball situation, especially his free kicks which have regularly hit the back of the net, have seen him become a big hit at Pride Park Stadium.

“The fans have been fantastic with me from the day I signed all the way to now,” he told RamsTV.

“We know they will be just as good on Monday and when you hear your name getting sang at Pride Park or on the road. The away fans are always fantastic, as they are at home, and it gives you that extra boost that you might need half way through a game.

“They have definitely helped me this season with confidence and I feel part of the team and the club, so they have been fantastic with me from the start.”
