After back-to-back home fixtures at Pride Park Stadium, Derby County will hit the road once again this week with successive away matches in the Sky Bet Championship - starting at Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night (7:45pm kick-off).

Phillip Cocu's side will travel south to take on the R’s following the 1-1 draws against Huddersfield Town and Fulham on home territory.

dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you will need ahead of the game against Mark Warburton’s side.

TEAM NEWS…

Manager Phillip Cocu has no fresh injury concerns going into the game in West London.

Cocu could shuffle his pack for the Rams' latest three game week, although the performance in the 1-1 draw against Fulham last Friday provided many positives an the Derby boss may opt to stick with the side that impressed against the Cottagers.

George Evans is pushing to make the matchday squad after two months out with a calf injury and stepped up his workload by making two appearances for Derby's Under-23s last week in their games against Everton and Birmingham City.

Attacking midfielder Duane Holmes remains out of action with a lower leg injury sustained in the 1-1 draw against Huddersfield Town just over a week ago, which has ruled him out of action for several weeks.

Midfielder Tom Huddlestone is still out with an Achilles injury, which comes as a frustration to Cocu as he has been out of action for almost a month and his progress on the road to recovery has not been as quick as the Rams would have hoped for.

Krystian Bielik remains out of action with a long-term knee injury which he sustained last month.

PRE-MATCH THOUGHTS…

Speaking to RamsTV ahead of Tuesday's game, assistant manager Chris van der Weerden said: "If you look at the last 14 games from December and Christmas – we lost two of them and we are still 13th in the table, so we need to get more points.

“The thing is, we play well, we create chances exactly the way we want then sometimes we concede in a simple way or we create a lot and don’t score. That is why we don’t have the results we want at times.

"The way we want to play, you can still see it week-by-week that we are improving our game and how we want to play."

More pre-match comments from Phillip Cocu's number two, and midfielder Graeme Shinnie, can be found across dcfc.co.uk and also on RamsTV.
