Martyn Waghorn will make his 400th career appearance this afternoon as he is named in the starting XI to face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough (3pm kick-off).

The 30-year-old, who has played for the likes of Leicester City, Rangers and Ipswich Town during his career, will reach the landmark today when he steps out onto the field, aiming to build on his recent form in front of goal which has seen him score four times in his last seven games.

And manager Phillip Cocu has made four changes from Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat against Queens Park Rangers.

Craig Forsyth and Jayden Bogle are restored to the defence as Max Lowe and Curtis Davies drop out, whilst Chris Martin returns to make his 201st appearance in a Rams’ shirt.

He replaces Jack Marriott, whilst the other change comes in midfield as Graeme Shinnie is replaced by the energetic Jason Knight.
