Derby County Academy graduates Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe have today joined Premier League side Sheffield United.

The duo have completed the formalities of their respective moves to Bramall Lane after undisclosed fees were agreed with the Blades for the services of both players.

Bogle and Lowe, combined, registered almost 150 first-team appearances for the club after coming through Derby’s youth set-up in recent seasons.

Bogle, capped by England at Under-20 level, joined Derby in early 2016 from Swindon Town and became a full-time scholar the club’s Academy a few months later.

The right-back went on to make his professional debut at the start of the 2018/19 campaign under Frank Lampard, making the right-back position his own as he claimed the Sammy Crooks Young Player of the Year award, and remained a key part of Phillip Cocu’s plans last season.

The 20-year-old leaves the Rams having made 90 first-team appearances, scoring three times in total.

Lowe, meanwhile, leaves Derby after making 48 appearances for the club at first-team level since making his professional bow at the start of the 2016/17 campaign.

The 23-year-old had spells out on loan at Shrewsbury Town and Aberdeen to gain first-team experience, before making a season-best 31 appearances for Derby under Phillip Cocu in 2019/20.

Lowe has also been recognised on the international stage at several levels, having been capped by England at Under-16, 17, 18 and 20 level, and leaves the Rams having made more than 100 career appearances.

Derby County would like to thank both Jayden and Max for their commitment and dedication both on and off the pitch throughout the duration of their respective periods at the club and wish them every success in the future.
