Colin Kazim-Richards returns to the Derby County starting line-up for the first time since August as he is one of three changes from Saturday’s defeat against Blackburn Rovers at Pride Park Stadium for this evening’s Sky Bet Championship clash against Barnsley (7:45pm kick-off).

The striker, who missed two months of the season after sustaining an achillies injury against Peterborough United in August, has made four substitute appearances since recovering from his period out on the sidelines.

And he has been rewarded with his third league start of the season as manager Wayne Rooney shuffles his pack slightly for this evening’s crucial clash at Oakwell.

Sam Baldock also returns to the starting XI, whilst there is one enforced change for the Rams as midfielder Graeme Shinnie misses out through suspension.

He picked a booking on Saturday against Rovers which was his fifth of the campaign, so he misses out as Jason Knight returns after recovering from a slight muscle injury.

Louie Sibley and Kamil Jozwiak are named as substitutes, whilst Ryan Allsop has shaken off illness and also returns to the bench.

Barnsley: Collins, Styles, Anderson, Brittain, Woodrow (C), Benson, Iseka, Moon, Gomes, Adeboyejo, Helik.

Derby County: Roos, Byrne, Forsyth, Jagielka, Bird, Baldock, Lawrence (C), Morrison, Kazim-Richards, Davies, Knight.
